Today is day 5 of the 21 Days of Fasting & Prayer, continuing until Shavuot on May 28. Each day we will be posting a video here on the blog and on YouTube to encourage you during this season.

Episode 5: Bringing It All Into Focus
Fasting is often difficult. When we fast we can get headaches, our stomachs growl, and the lack of food can even make us lose focus on the reasons we are fasting in the first place. Here God tells us that if fasting becomes about us and what we are going through, we’ve missed the point! He wants us to abandon our self-focus and put the focus on His priorities. When we pursue God’s priorities then, and only then, can our fasting have real meaning.
